Item Priority

Sion takes Bramble Vest, Dragon's Claw and Sunfire Cape, pure magic resist tank itemization, since he wants to survive and detonate his ability in the middle of the enemy team. Bard goes the unusual line of Archangel's Staff, Blue Buff and Void Staff, playing him as a scaling AP mage rather than his usual support role. Volibear keeps the same Bloodthirster, Sterak's Gage and Titan's Resolve build seen throughout this list, and Aphelios takes Deathblade, Guinsoo's Rageblade and Giant Slayer as a hard AD carry.

Augment Priority

Because this is a lower level comp, prioritise combat augments over pure econ ones earlier than you would in a Fast 9 build. You'll be fighting from a stronger board position sooner, so augments that boost your stage 3 or 4 strength are worth more here than they would be in a slow roll to nine comp.

Flex Slots and Early Placeholders

Wukong can be swapped in depending on whether you need another frontline body. Illaoi, Shen, and Kobuko and Yuumi are all cheap enough to hold items early while you look for your core four.
